This looks great and is a lot fun. Thanks!

Hey! thank you! I hope you like it!

Love this take on a classic. Hard but once you get in rhythm it gets easier. Just don't think to much and you will start clearing levels! Thank you for making this game. Great fun if you want a quicky!

I'm glad you like it. Thank you for playing and comment!

Best regards

While playing the new 1.3 version, even though i got further than ever, i never saw the bigger Invaders like in the original version. Were those removed? Or do you need to hit a certain condition to see them? Thanks!

Thanks for playing, comment and make a video! The criteria for large enemies to appear is that the difficulty level is hard or very hard and 2 or more enemy waves have been passed. Every time a level is started with these premises, there is a 70% chance that large enemies will spawn. Maybe you were playing on easy or normal level?

I was playing normal this time. Could have sworn I was playing normal the first time when I saw the large invaders. But I guess not. Either way, thanks for a great game. One of the best on Playdate!

Here is a review i did for Onebit Invaders. What a great game.

Thanks for the video!

loving this game. Super fast and hard ❤️

Anyway you can make the dpad fire when using the crank?

Also how about making your Phoenix clone on Playdate.  I grew up with that game 😊

Thanks for playing and comment! Good idea, I'll implement fire with UP dpad while using cranck. Phoenix is one of my favourite games and is on my todo list. Maybe in a few weeks/months I have something new about it. Thanks! Best regards!

Brilliant game! I gave it some glowing remarks in my video on youtube.

I just view the video! Thanks for including the game in it!

BTW good score!

Super solid take on Space Invaders! Really enjoyed playing and have continued to go back to play more and more. The ufo's weren't always giving powerups but I imagine that is by design?

Either way sound/sprites and background all look phenomenal and is such a blast to play!

Hi! I've seen your video a few hours ago. Thanks for do it! The UFO only gives you powerups if there are enemies (small one, not bosses) in screen...

Thanks for you interest and video!

Best Regards

Edit: I just paid special attention to the score you got on the video... wow!

1.1 Errors out when you try and sideload it through the browser.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, It's a known problem. As said in the page: Use the USB or Disk mode install method to avoid installing problems in real device.

Not sure if this is the problem you are having, but I was having an issue with sideloading my zipped game as well.
I was using the windows built in zipping utility and it wouldn't sideload properly.
I re-zipped it 7zip and it sideloaded normally, not sure why but it fixed the issue for my game.
